TIMES OF TRENTON – Seven Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States, including Garden State neighbors New York and Delaware, are joining hands to develop a unified approach to reducing pollution stemming from the transportation sector.

With the advent of a new administration in the state’s capital come January, we are hopeful New Jersey will consider signing on.

The new partnership was announced at the Bonn Climate Change Summit earlier this week.

Its goal is similar to that of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), which supporters laud for curtailing emissions from power plants – emissions that scientists have linked to harmful changes in the planet’s climate …
