Regulator adds meetings to discuss Delaware River fracking ban

KYLE BAGENSTOSE / BURLINGTON COUNTY TIMES – After criticism the regulator isn’t allowing for enough public input as it considers a ban on fracking in the Delaware River basin, the DRBC has announced two more public meetings and an extended comment period.

The Delaware River Basin Commission is set to make one of its biggest decisions in years in 2018 — whether it will ban fracking operations in the basin — and announced this week it is expanding opportunities for public input on the decision.
