AP / U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT – Environmental groups are taking their opposition to New Jersey’s $225 million settlement with Exxon Mobil to the state Supreme Court.
The groups filed their intent to appeal to the high court on Thursday.
The filing on behalf of New Jersey Sierra Club, Clean Water Action, Environment New Jersey, Delaware Riverkeeper Network and Delaware Riverkeeper come after an appellate court ruled against them last month.
