Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.
Apparently, though, we are getting closer and closer to having one, because some deal-makers in Trenton, including Gov. Phil Murphy — who promised during his campaign last fall to be New Jersey’s “clean energy” governor — believe one is needed.
It appears they have all bought into the shortsighted, ill-conceived, money-grabbing notion that somehow, a new power plant that would produce about 1,200 megawatts of electricity — all of it for New York City — is a good idea for our most sensitive wetlands …
