DAVID LEVINSKY / BURLINGTON COUNTY TIMES – New Jersey Natural Gas plans to begin work on its Southern Reliability Link pipeline in Ocean County where the company has obtained road opening permits to install sections of the gas line, according to a notice posted on the Plumsted Township municipal website.

A New Jersey utility company plans to start construction on a controversial natural gas pipeline through parts of northern Burlington, Monmouth and Ocean counties this week even though litigation surrounding the project is still ongoing.
