NORTHJERSEY.COM – The problem of unsafe lead levels in Paterson’s drinking water has not yet reached the so-called “crisis” level of say, Newark, Trenton or Camden, yet it is a troubling and dangerous situation nonetheless, and one that may be harder to rectify than we have previously been led to believe.

Thanks to the reporting of Pat Alex of Paterson Press, along with various samples taken — including those in 2016 taken by the New Jersey Community Development Corporation – we are beginning to get a clearer, and far more disturbing picture about the amount of lead in Paterson’s drinking water …
