Fox attacks 5 people in N.J. town, 3 sent to hospitals with bite wounds, cops say

ANTHONY G. ATTRINO / NJ.COM – Police in Essex County killed a fox after the animal was believed to have attacked five people, sending three to local hospitals with bite wounds, authorities said Monday.

Glen Ridge police and Bloomfield Animal Control responded about 9:15 a.m. Friday to the area of Woodland Avenue on a report of a person bitten by a red fox.
