SCOTT FALLON / NORTHJERSEY.COM – The Senate and Assembly approved a bill Monday that would give motorists a sizable rebate on a purchase or lease of an electric vehicle and also set goals to expand the state’s network of charging stations.
The bill now goes to Gov. Phil Murphy who has 45 days to act on it.
Murphy has not commented on the measure, but NJ Transit officials have expressed concerns about being forced to buy electric buses under a provision in the bill …
